PROGRAMME

“Management and production engineering” jest specjalnością na kierunku “Zarządzanie i inżynieria produkcji” prowadzoną w Zabrzu. Obywatele polscy mogą aplikować na tę specjalność, dokonując zgłoszenia na kierunek “Zarządzanie i inżynieria produkcji”, a następnie wybierając preferowany język studiowania w dodatkowych informacjach pod zgłoszeniem.

“Management and production engineering” is a specialisation within the “Zarządzanie i inżynieria produkcji” programme in Zabrze. Profile of graduate

Graduates have knowledge of general engineering subjects and those related to the preparation and organisation of production in a company.
They are able to use quantitative methods and utilise information systems in management.
They are also familiar with methods of analysis, diagnosis and design of organisational systems and enterprise management systems.
They are able to prepare and organise the production process together with the assessment of the impact of production decisions on the functioning of the whole enterprise and the economic and financial results achieved.
Graduates of management and production engineering are prepared to manage teams of creative activity in the selected field of production engineering and teams in the economic sphere, educational administration, local government, state administration or banking.
They can manage production systems, organise production and auxiliary processes in an enterprise.
They are able to manage the resources of an enterprise for its activities, in particular for the production process.

The candidate has the necessary competencies to continue education in a second-cycle programme in this field of study, in particular:

has knowledge and understanding of the fundamental concepts and theories of management sciences, including business management, marketing, and logistics, as well as issues related to human resource management, knowledge management, and decision support systems,
has knowledge and understanding of the principles, concepts, and methods of quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety, and workplace ergonomics,
has knowledge and understanding of the non-technical aspects of engineering activities, particularly those related to selected humanities and social sciences, and recognises the importance of incorporating them into engineering practice,
has knowledge and understanding of the general principles of establishing and developing forms of individual entrepreneurship,
is able to effectively apply knowledge of mathematics, physics, and broadly understood general engineering to solve contemporary technological problems,
is able to identify and formulate specifications for simple practical engineering tasks based on acquired knowledge in management and production engineering.

Verification of competencies possessed is based on the diploma of graduation with the diploma supplement.
The candidate’s admission score is calculated as the average grade of the previous studies multiplied by the coefficient of compatibility of the competencies possessed with the competencies required of the candidates.

1,75 – 80%-89% compliance
