We teach construction from the ground up. You will learn the design of structures and the technology for executing construction works of various types and purposes, such as buildings, roads, and bridges. You will become familiar with methods to ensure the safety and durability of construction projects, as well as learn what ecology in construction entails. You will get to know the IT tools that enable modern and efficient work for designers and site managers. Studying in the field of ‘Civil Engineering’ will prepare you for a career in the broadly understood construction industry and for obtaining construction licenses.

By studying ‘Civil Engineering,’ you will learn how to design urban infrastructure facilities (buildings, sports halls, stadiums), industrial infrastructure (transmission halls, silos, chimneys), and transportation infrastructure (roads, railways, highways, bridges). You will become familiar with the technology of construction works to be able to manage projects for all types of construction facilities. You will learn about many IT tools currently used in the digitization of construction engineering processes.
By studying for a bachelor’s degree in ‘Civil Engineering,’ you will acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies in the following areas:
- design and construction of buildings
- management of construction works
- construction and investment supervision
- maintenance and modernization of buildings
- building foundations
- production of construction materials and components
- construction management
- eco-friendly solutions to construction problems
- planning, designing, and execution of transportation systems and technical infrastructure
Students of the ‘Civil Engineering’ program undertake mandatory one-semester professional internships. The internship is carried out based on employment (employment contract, commission contract, contract for specific work) and can be counted towards the period of professional experience required to obtain construction licenses.
The Faculty of Civil Engineering annually hosts a Student Job Fair, where renowned companies from the construction industry present job and internship offers. Students have the opportunity to interact individually with company representatives and make informed choices for the first stage of their professional careers.

The four years spent at the Faculty of Civil Engineering will definitely be unforgettable. I spent a lot of time in the laboratory, learned to use programs that were unknown to me before my studies. During the internships, I could try my hand at work, refine my practical knowledge, and get to know the technologies used in construction. I highly recommend it!
Konrad
Professionally equipped laboratories, a qualified teaching staff, and a wide range of scientific circles allowed me to gain the knowledge and skills that I use daily in my professional work. I learned the basics of human resource management and high-budget projects.

Kwalifikacja odbywa się na podstawie wyników z części pisemnych egzaminu maturalnego.
P = 0,5 × Wmp + k × Wdodatkowy
gdzie:
P – liczba punktów w postępowaniu kwalifikacyjnym,
Wmp – liczba punktów (%) uzyskanych z matematyki (poziom podstawowy),
Wdodatkowy – liczba punktów (%) uzyskanych z jednego przedmiotu dodatkowego (matematyka – poziom rozszerzony, biologia, chemia, fizyka, informatyka) albo wynik egzaminów zawodowych w zawodzie nauczanym na poziomie technika,
k = 0,5 dla poziomu podstawowego,
k = 1 dla poziomu rozszerzonego,
